Cove Point Lodge is truly a unique dining destination. From inspired fine dining crafted with local ingredients to mouth-watering pub fare, our food is as memorable as the incredible views. Covid-19 Update: We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we strive to keep our guests and employees safe. The Lodge dining room and The Crossings will be open at 50% capacity for sit down dining, and will also be serving takeout. Please read on below for our hours and offerings.
Breakfast Update – We’re happy to help you fuel up for your day’s adventure! Lodge guests may choose one of the below complimentary breakfast options that we’ll have ready when you specify. Grab and Go breakfasts can be picked up in the Lodge dining room between 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Grab and Go breakfasts are $8.00 for our cottage guests.
- Continental Breakfast: fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, protein bar, hard boiled egg, and a muffin.
- Scandinavian Breakfast: pickled herring, hard boiled egg, selection of cheeses, hard salami, and a baguette.
- Kid Friendly Breakfast: cereal and milk, granola bar, fresh fruit, and a muffin.
Lodge Dining Room
Imagine an intimate dining space with sweeping views of Lake Superior from every table and the famous point from which Cove Point Lodge got its name. Add to the views a dining room with exquisite chef-inspired local fare, tables covered with crisp white linen tablecloths, candles and an extensive wine list and menu designed to satisfy your North Shore Experience. Enjoy a unique fine dining experience in an incredible setting, and filled with our down-home hospitality.
The Lodge dining room is open every evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Reservations are required for sit down dining.

Crossings Bar & Grill
Order Online and enjoy a meal at home or in your cottage or lodge room. We plan to reopen for sit down dining at 50% capacity on January 14th when restrictions are lifted.

The Crossings started in 2003 on Minnesota’s majestic North Shore. From our origins as a corner bar with solid American pub fare we’ve been extremely fortunate to show host to thousands of dedicated eaters from locales near and far.
