Cove Point Lodge is a place of calm and action-all at the same time.   On a typical day you might observe the following.  In the early morning hours a photographer waiting for that very special sunrise through the fog shot, while in the lodge two guys are meeting their charter captain for a day of salmon fishing on lake superior.  Out on the deck a couple are having a cup of coffee, while others are out-side the main entry getting their bikes ready for a ride to Split Rock Lighthouse.  In the pool kids are going for a swim, while at the front desk guests are asking about the best place to pick berries in the nearby Superior National Forest. At breakfast tables some guests are talking about the incredible hiking trails while others are going to Palisade Head to do some rock climbing on the cliffs that rise directly out of Lake Superior. Still others plan to go into nearby Beaver Bay for some shopping and to return early to the lodge to read a favorite book.  And a family is going to hike to the secluded and beautiful Bean Lake where they intend to picnic and dad will cast for some trout. At Cove Point Lodge everyday brings new adventures and  peaceful  relaxation.
