Cove Point Lodge was designed around the concept of providing guests with a quiet atmosphere, privacy and a romantic setting. At the same time, we offer all of the activities one would expect on the North Shore including hiking trails, recreation paths and bike trails, incredible cross country trails, and of course a beautiful pool, sauna and spa to use at the end of the day. What have we done to provide for your comfort and privacy? First, the lodge is located away from the main highway. Second, we do not have convention facilities. We focus on the needs of couples and families rather than large groups and events. Third, our lodge is small with many places for you to explore or sit privately and watch the waves on Lake Superior. Finally, everything we do is about creating an atmosphere that is cozy, warm, friendly, and private. Come and enjoy the romance of Cove Point Lodge.

Romantic Getaways:

Imagine a day of hiking or sightseeing in the crisp air of the North shore followed by a late afternoon swim in our pool and time in our hot tub overlooking Lake Superior. As the day winds down you might decide to enjoy a glass of wine as you sit outside in an Adirondack chair listening to the waves and smelling the fresh cool air. Inside, your candlelit white linen table awaits you. As the moonlight glistens across the lake, you retire to your in-room Jacuzzi framed by the moonlit windows and fireplace. Honeymoon Accommodations:

Cove Point Lodge has everything you want in a honeymoon. Privacy, Jacuzzi rooms facing Lake Superior, intimate dining facilities, a superb wine selection, dozens of activities and amenities including our pool, sauna, and hot tub.

Our honey moon guests enjoy the variety of packages available to them.

Weddings:

Each year several couples choose to get married at Cove Point Lodge. Some couples are married in front of the Great Hall fireplace, others out on our lakeside lawn, some out on the point and still others will choose to get married at Split Rock Lighthouse. Call us if you would like to discuss having your wedding at our lodge. Please note that we are not able to conduct weddings from the middle of June through August and from the middle of September through November 1.
